Qualification
This course is delivered in partnership with ATS at our academy in Billericay. Upon successful completion, you will achieve a VTCT Level 2 Hairdressing qualification, enabling you to begin your professional hairdressing career.
At our academy, you'll benefit from ongoing support, expert guidance, and opportunities for further training. Our highly experienced tutors combine extensive industry knowledge with recognised qualifications to deliver exceptional practical and theoretical training in a realistic salon environment.
What You'll Learn
Throughout the course, you will develop the knowledge and practical skills to:
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene within the salon.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive client experience.
- Build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Shampoo, condition, and treat the hair and scalp.
- Colour hair using a range of professional techniques.
- Style and finish hair for a variety of looks.
- Set and dress hair.
- Cut hair using fundamental cutting techniques.
- Carry out salon reception duties and client bookings.
- Develop your personal effectiveness and professionalism within the workplace.
Course Duration
Choose the study option that best suits your lifestyle:
- 1 year – Attend 1 day per week
- 6 months – Attend 2 days per week
Course Fees
- Course Fee: £2,200
- Administration Fee: £250
We offer a variety of payment options, including interest-free monthly instalments from £183, making it easier to spread the cost of your training.
Apprenticeships
If you're aged 16–24 and currently employed within the hair and beauty industry, you may be eligible for funding through your employer.
Our team can advise you on apprenticeship funding and guide you through the application process. If you're not currently working in a salon, we can also discuss opportunities with our network of partner salons that may have apprenticeship vacancies available.
